| Once upon a time, not so long ago and under this 21st century sky, two girls got to know each other.
Distance, circumstances and opportunities separated them but they had that personal connection which would trump all those differences. When one became ill with AIDS, naturally, the other friend wanted to help with raising money for the medication. With all her personal connections and also by mobilising an even larger network through social media, she GOT IT DONE pretty damn quickly. No middlemen were needed. Just connection, action and results. This vision sparked the Cheruto Foundation, a non-profit start-up registered in the Netherlands. GET IT DONE is a concept of the Cheruto Foundation. |

This is Desirée, a PhD researcher who thinks it’s absolutely necessary to be involved with GET IT DONE to keep her nerdyness level down whilst working at Uni. She was inspired by working with development organizations and by her travels abroad, and decided to support one on one initiatives to make her own little contribution to a better world. She believes life is all about maximizing your potential and the potential of the people around you. Leon Labruyere is owner and director of a trusted accountancy-firm in Rotterdam. He joined Cheruto to take care of the financial, legal and tax-processes which came up. He is a skilled financial advisor, highly reliable: worth his weight in gold.

Marcel Stolk is owner and CEO of Adoria Investment. For Logitech International Marcel was in the executive board as Senior Vice President World wide Sales & Marketing. He holds several advisory boards seats at technology companies.
Arno

Arno is Hanna's father and has been working as an agriculturalist in small scale development of local farmers in the villages of Kenya, to lecturing in the university in Uganda. Currently he is one of the directors of Terra Natura International.
